Project Manager Financial Specialist
This position plays a pivotal role in the project team, interacting with various stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient cost management.
* The successful candidate will oversee the development, maintenance, and control of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to guarantee compliant and effective cost charging, billing, and revenue recognition.
* Responsibilities include calculating, controlling, and maintaining baselines and budgets while monitoring project funding, schedules, and milestones, as well as estimating future costs based on labor productivity, material price forecasts, subcontract, wage rates, and risk analysis.
* Further responsibilities involve reviewing incurred costs, analyzing cost trends, preparing monthly accruals, and maximizing project cash flow by reviewing customer invoices and minimizing unbilled balances.
* The incumbent will also oversee subcontractor expenditures, tracking costs against budget, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve financial and contractual deliverables.
* Analyze cost data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize project performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* A bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field is required, along with 10+ years of experience in financial analysis.
* Demonstrated expertise in complex program management concepts, such as budgeting, estimating, and scheduling, is essential.

* Demonstrated expertise in complex program management concepts (budgets, estimates to complete, project schedules, etc.).
* Established command of financial accounting principles as they relate to U.S. GAAP.
* Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel skills.
* Must be a US or Australian citizen.
* Must have a Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret, or an Australian NV or PV clearance.
