What you'll be doing
In this varied and rewarding role, you will provide high quality dispensing, manufacturing and pharmaceutical support services to help ensure safe and effective medication management for patients.
* Perform medication distribution activities to support safe and accurate supply
* Assist with dispensing and pharmaceutical production services across designated areas
* Prepare sterile and non‐sterile pharmaceutical products in line with master formulations
* Support compliance with legislative requirements, hospital policies and quality standards
* Participate in quality assurance programs, staff supervision and professional development activities
Essential Criteria
* Qualification: Pharmacy Technician Grade 1 – Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support, Pharmacy Technician Grade 2 – Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support.
Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated satisfactory pharmacy dispensing experience in Australia (or equivalent).
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise large workload and have good time management skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
* Willing and able to perform all aspects of sterile (including cytotoxic) manufacturing.
* Must be willing and able to work late shifts and overtime on weekends as required.
