Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Diesel Mechanic, located in Bendigo, VIC. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance, conducting preventive maintenance on heavy equipment, and diagnosing and repairing diesel engines. Day-to-day tasks also include keeping maintenance records, liaising with vendors for parts and equipment, and ensuring all work is performed in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Equipment Maintenance
Expertise in Diesel Mechanics and Heavy Equipment
Experience in performing Preventive Maintenance
Robust problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines
Ability to work independently and adapt to a hybrid work workplace
Relevant certifications in diesel mechanics or heavy equipment maintenance are a plus
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills
