The corporation is seeking a consultant to provide strategic oversight and advice on financial and risk matters.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Provide advisory services on financial, audit, and risk matters
o Attend scheduled committee meetings annually
o Be available for consultation between meetings as required
o Review and monitor financial performance, risk registers, and audit outcomes
o Support compliance with relevant legislation and standards
o Contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies
Demonstrated experience in governance, risk management, or audit is essential. Familiarity with relevant acts is also necessary.
A strong understanding of not-for-profit governance frameworks, excellent communication and collaborative skills, and prior experience in committee roles are desirable.
