Job Description:
* Lead and motivate a team of group travel consultants, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure team success.
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the group travel department, including handling inquiries, coordinating bookings, and resolving any issues that may arise.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to develop strategies for attracting and retaining group travel clients.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and securing favorable rates for group bookings.
* Stay informed about industry trends, destination updates, and travel regulations to provide accurate and up-to-date information to clients and team members.
* Monitor team performance metrics, such as targets, customer satisfaction scores, and response times, and implement strategies to drive continuous improvement.
* Handle escalated customer inquiries or complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring resolutions that exceed client expectations.
Experience Required:
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in the travel industry, with a focus on group travel arrangements.
* Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in travel booking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
