We are partnering with a well-established, WA-based cable business servicing mining, industrial, infrastructure, marine and utilities sectors.
This is a hands‐on, technically driven internal sales role where product knowledge and commercial awareness are equally valued.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for providing technically accurate advice, preparing commercial quotations and supporting customers in selecting compliant electrical and communications cable solutions.
You will play a key role in supporting revenue growth while maintaining strong customer relationships in a fast‐paced distribution environment.
* Salary up to $85,000 + Super (negotiable based on experience)

Technical Sales Support
* Provide accurate technical advice on electrical and communications cable products
* Assist customers with product selection based on application, standards and installation conditions (mining, OPG, marine, infrastructure, industrial etc.)
* Interpret technical specifications and standards
* Prepare detailed technical and commercial quotations aligned with margin targets
* Liaise with suppliers regarding technical data, pricing and availability
Customer & Relationship Management
* Respond promptly to phone and email enquiries
* Build strong relationships across all customer levels
* Follow up quotations to maximise conversion
* Coordinate with operations to resolve supply and delivery matters
Experience
* Experience in electrical, communications or related internal sales
* Strong knowledge of electrical and/or communications cable products
* Ability to interpret technical specifications
* Commercial awareness with margin understanding
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* High attention to detail in quoting and order accuracy
