About This Position
Seeking an experienced financial professional to lead general accounting processes, manage internal controls, and provide accurate information for business decision-making.
Responsibilities:
* Manage intercompany reconciliations, month-end and year-end processes, and reporting.
* Resolve complex inventory issues and intercompany transactions, identifying root causes.
* Collaborate with audit and compliance teams on reviews and internal controls.
* Develop audit working documents and reconcile all accounts.
* Support forecasting and financial planning efforts.
* Analyze risk and provide data-driven insights on variances used in business decisions.
* Provide cost status updates for project work and collaborate with project teams on variance analysis.
Requirements
A CPA designation or near completion is required. Candidates should have 3+ years of strong general accounting experience from manufacturing or distribution industries or equivalent experience in Public Accounting.
Inventory accounting expertise, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution setting, is beneficial.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot table experience, are necessary.
Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Australia.
