Our client is a leading company dealing with large inventory contracts in Western Australia.
**The Role**
Responsible for engaging with internal clients to collect business plan information and convert into forecasts for procurement of materials and services that help to ensure the right resources are made available at the best cost.
These responsibilities include the investigation and validation of anomalies, confirmation of forecast deliverability and an acute understanding of work program priorities.
In additional the role is required to support all the analytical requirements of the supply chain team including building and maintaining replenishment tools, stock analysis tools and reporting.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Accountable for developing Demand Plans that incorporate forecast requirements for materials and services.
- Review and make recommendations to forecasting methodologies and algorithms to reduce forecast error
- Provide materials and services capacity constraints to upstream functions as required
- Accountable for continuous improvement of replenishment and other supply chain tools
- Building reports that add value to the team and improve overall efficiency by understanding end user requirements.
- Understand contract management and material requirements to support the team in times of resource shortages.
- Influence and educate internal stakeholders in Commercial principles, constraints and requirements to ensure ongoing improvements in forecast accuracy
**Experience**
- 5 years + demand planning experience
- Demonstrated influencing, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills
- Degree qualified in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Finance or related discipline
