Logistics Governance Officer - Communications Security
The position of Logistics Governance Officer - Communications Security exists within the Communications Security Platoon, which is responsible for providing secure communications infrastructure to the Australian Defence Force and the Whole of Australian Government.
As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with policy, legislation, and procedural frameworks. This will involve maintaining accurate governance documentation, reporting, disposal, and auditing activities.
You will also provide expert advice to support decision-making and engage confidently with stakeholders in sensitive or high-level contexts.
Additionally, you will be responsible for managing priorities under limited direction and overseeing inventory processes within the Equipment Distribution Authority (EDA).
This role requires strict adherence to security protocols and confidentiality requirements, including compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations for all COMSEC-related activities.

* Security Clearance: Negative Vetting Level 1
