The role
We are seeking an experiencedSenior Category Specialist to manage strategic procurement acrossconstruction and capital works. This is a key role partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver commercial outcomes across major projects, panels and long-term service arrangements.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver category strategies for construction/capital works spend
- Lead end-to-end sourcing: market engagement, tendering, evaluation, negotiation and award
- Draft/review commercial terms and manage contract risk, variations, claims and performance
- Partner with project and operational stakeholders to support project delivery timeframes and budgets
- Drive supplier performance and continuous improvement across procurement governance
- Provide coaching/mentoring to team members as required
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Degree qualified(commerce, business, law, engineering, procurement or similar)
- Demonstrated experience managingconstruction contracts
- Strong capability acrosstendering, negotiation, contract formation and contract management
- Working knowledge of construction contracting models (e.g., AS forms, D&C, lump sum, schedule of rates)
- Confident stakeholder engagement style with the ability to influence at senior levels.

Casual Loading
