The Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for managing a wide range of services including maintenance, repair, compliance and safety, as well as overseeing contractors and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building trades, preferably plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, masonry, concreting or landscaping. Experience in construction, commercial, industrial and large infrastructure projects is also highly desirable.

A key requirement of this role is demonstrated stakeholder engagement experience, with excellent communication skills. The ability to work under pressure during peak periods is essential, as is a commitment to a high level of workplace health and safety.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising contractors and staff to perform maintenance, minimising unscheduled breakdowns and ensuring the efficient operation of plant and equipment. They will also authorise and sign off on approved rework requests, monitor scheduled maintenance on fire safety equipment and manage the operational register to ensure regulatory compliance.
