Overview
Do you enjoy being outdoors and have an interest in nature and gardening? Geraldton Cultural Trust are seeking a Volunteer Gardener. This position will suit a person who's contented to work alone, who enjoys being outside in the fresh air and working in a peaceful environment. This volunteering role would ideally suit a person who has an interest in gardening and general maintenance. Basic gardening skills are all that is required, this includes weeding along with sweeping leaves and rubbish, and keeping paths clean. Equipment is available and, if necessary, training can be provided. Days and Times are flexible to suit Volunteer. Responsibilities
* Perform basic gardening tasks including weeding, sweeping leaves and rubbish, and keeping paths clean.
* Work mostly outdoors in a peaceful environment and, when needed, work independently.
* Utilize available equipment and participate in on-the-job training as required.
Qualifications
* Basic gardening skills; no advanced qualifications required.
* Ability to work alone and manage tasks in an outdoor setting.
* Willingness to learn and follow safety and maintenance practices.
