Our services include cranes, lifting, fluid power, training, equipment rental, pipeline and subsea, process, and valves, all aimed at optimizing performance, enhancing reliability, and improving efficiency.The OpportunityAs our Senior Payroll Officer, you will be a key player in ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of our payroll function across the business.
Reporting to the HR Solutions Lead and working closely with Finance, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for both salaried and waged employees.
You will manage and maintain payroll systems (ADP) and time & attendance platforms (Kronos), while also taking ownership of statutory reporting, superannuation, taxation, and other third-party obligations.
Your attention to detail and understanding of relevant Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and legislation will ensure all payments and deductions are administered correctly and on time.
The role requires someone who can confidently provide guidance to managers and staff on payroll matters, support strategic initiatives, and drive continuous improvement in payroll processes.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess payroll accurately and on time for all employees.Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements.Prepare and submit statutory reporting, including taxes and superannuation.Respond to all payroll-related enquiries from employees and managers in a timely and professional manner, providing clear and accurate information.Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll operations.Mentor and train junior payroll staff to enhance their skill sets.RequirementsProven experience in payroll management, preferably in a similar role.Strong knowledge of ADP and Kronos payroll systems.Excellent understanding of relevant legislation, payroll practices, and compliance requirements.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.Relevant certifications in payroll management are an advantage.The OfferBased in our Henderson location with free on-site parking.Flexible working hours.Competitive salary on offer.Training and development.BenefitsEnerMech is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where differences in background, culture, education, working style, and less obvious differences are respected and celebrated.We Encourage You to ApplyWe believe in potential and growth.
