About the position

We are looking for an experienced Technology Specialist, to support and contribute to the growth of new technologies through the safe delivery of technical support, project management and training at customer sites.

In this role, you will assist in building Enaex Australia's profile as the preferred provider for EIS and new technologies through proactive customer engagement, establishing stronger bonds with internal and external stakeholders.

Working hybrid from our Brisbane or Perth office, you will report to our Innovation Manager – EIS & Technology and be surrounded by a diverse team of specialists.


Core accountabilities

* Project Management of R&D based projects and trials
* Act as a product specialist and primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
* Assist with new product trials, implementation on new sites, testing, and contributing to training materials
* Report and follow up any incidents or defects with appropriate stakeholders, troubleshooting problems as required
* Timely and accurate reporting and advice on project activities and initiatives
* Liaise with customers and industry professionals
* Represent Enaex technically at the customer level
* Participate in global meetings with key stakeholders
* Contribute to a respectful and inclusive work environment


Qualifications and Experience

* Experience in open cut and/or underground applications
* Unwavering commitment to safety and efficiency in leading a positive safety culture
* Demonstrated experience with network administration, setup including software updates using various protocols
* Demonstrate experience in Linux including troubleshooting, security practices, or performance optimization
* Experience in Blast Design software and Blast monitoring hardware and software including analysis thereof (Air blast, Vibration monitoring etc.)
* Demonstrated experience in using, improvement design and fault finding of electronic initiation systems (EIS)
* Strong troubleshooting skills with the capacity to manage high pressure situations
* Exceptional intercultural communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational and time management skills with ability to work to deadlines
* Competent computer user with ability to complete change management, report writing, database entries etc.
* Demonstrated experience delivering classroom and operational training
* Project management and analytical skills with the ability to think outside the box
* National Police Check (valid in last 3 months or willingness to undertake)
* Security Clearance for handling explosives or willing to obtain
* Driver's licence with a willingness to travel as required
* Several years' experience effectively working part of a drill and blast team
