Mental Health Clinician Role Overview
This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you will work as part of a team to provide holistic recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and evidence-based rapid crisis support to individuals experiencing suicidality.
The Suicide Prevention Outreach Team (SPOT) aims to reduce deaths by suicide and suicide attempts in the community setting. The team engages with people experiencing suicidal distress, working collaboratively with existing supports and other initiatives within the Local Health District.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide crisis response with internal or external agencies
* Work holistically with individuals, taking into account their physical, emotional, and social needs
* Collaborate with the Peer Worker and other team members to deliver comprehensive support services

Requirements:
* Clinical Nurse Specialist 2, Occupational Therapist Level 3, Psychologist, or Social Worker Level 3 qualifications
* Experience working in mental health, particularly in crisis intervention and prevention
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
