This role will see you become a leader, thereby enhancing your capabilities and the reputation of WSP's Property and Buildings team. You will collaborate with talented and diverse professionals working on iconic projects to drive future‑ready outcomes that will benefit clients and communities.
What You'll Do
* Work on iconic projects
* Manage ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with clients
* Lead and deliver civil engineering projects from inception through to construction, supporting technical and commercial standards within time constraints and cost budgets
* Work in a varied, hands‑on role with a leadership angle across design management, superintendency and site surveillance
* Delegate and supervise the work of junior engineers
* Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting
About You
* Solid industry experience on Australian civil engineering projects in a consulting environment
* Well versed in effectively delivering multiple concurrent projects ranging in scale and sector – e.g. commercial, residential, industrial, land development, subdivisions and infrastructure/roads
* Strong client relationship management and project management skills
* Sound working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes (AS/NZS 3500, NCC, etc.)
* Proficiency with 12D and Civil 3D desirable but not essential
* Drainage software experience preferred
