Senior Mining Engineer, Truck & Shovel – Caval Ridge, BMA
Location: Bowen Basin, Queensland, Australia.

Caval Ridge is located in Queensland's Bowen Basin on the traditional lands of the Barada Barna people. This role involves design, scheduling, and execution direction for the Truck & Shovel team over up to 12 weeks, with opportunities to expand into other mine scheduling disciplines.
Reporting to the Mine Scheduling Superintendent, the successful candidate will:
* prepare and communicate Truck & Shovel designs and schedules;
* develop and follow production planning standards and processes;
* investigate reported events and participate in production planning training;
* identify and implement production planning improvement initiatives;
* develop the design for budget formulation;
* build cross-functional relationships with operational and planning sub-functions.
Key qualifications and requirements:
* tertiary education in Mining or Civil Engineering with experience in mine planning (Truck & Shovel experience is an added advantage);
* excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration;
* proficiency in Deswik and/or Vulcan, SPRY, and Microsoft Office packages.
Additional information:
The role is fly-in fly-out from Brisbane/Cairns to Moranbah with an 8/6 roster; candidates must be comfortable with this arrangement.
