We are seeking another highly experienced and passionate Chef De Partie & Commi Chef to join our team at Strøm in East Perth. This role offers an opportunity to apply your culinary expertise in helping to position Strøm as a premier food destination in Perth. You will report directly to the Head Chef and play a key role in leading and supporting a high-performing kitchen team. This position requires experience in all areas of quality menu management and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 
Main Duties 
- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation. 
- Oversee and lead kitchen teams, particularly in the absence of the Head Chef. 
- Contribute to the creation and execution of innovative and high-quality menus. 
- Monitor and maintain food cost control practices, including menu costings and stock management. 
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and HACCP compliance. 
- Ensure guest satisfaction by consistently delivering high-quality meals. 
- Work under pressure in a high-volume environment while maintaining composure. 
- Collaborate with the venue leadership team to ensure seamless kitchen operations. 
- Participate in a 7-day roster, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays. 
Qualifications and Experience 
- Minimum Certificate III and Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery. 
- Several years of experience in a quick-paced kitchen serving high-quality menus. 
- Proven ability to manage kitchen staff, set high performance standards, and run all areas of the kitchen. 
- Strong understanding of modern Australian cuisine and current market trends. 
- Experience in menu development, costing, and food cost control. 
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and contribute to a high-performance culture. 
- Passion for delivering exceptional food and ensuring customer satisfaction. 
- Strong leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills.
