We have an exciting opportunity to join the Brandbank Group, supporting two of our dynamic brands - Unison and Commonry.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time, driving sales performance and supporting inventory optimisation across both businesses.
As a Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end allocation process across new, replenishment and core product, as well as coordinating national stock consolidation. You will work closely with Planning, Retail and State teams to ensure stock is effectively distributed and aligned to trading performance.
The Role
* Set up and maintain allocation grids by department/class and season
* Allocate stock based on order quantities, trading performance and weeks cover
* Manage min/max levels across key product categories
* Support store openings, closures and refits with appropriate stock depth and width
* Lead national stock consolidations, working cross-functionally with Planning and Retail teams
* Monitor warehouse stock to ensure timely allocation and minimise aged inventory
* Deliver detailed sales and stock analysis across multiple levels (department, class, style, size, store and region)
* Coordinate weekly product performance reporting (including visual insights)
* Prepare monthly/quarterly performance reports (PSR) for all regions
* Conduct size and colour analysis to support trading decisions
* Execute markdown and repricing activities in line with Planning direction
* Support pricing and promotional file creation for concession and digital partners
* On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
* A tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in Fashion, Business, Economics or Finance is preferred
* Open to recent graduates with a focus on fashion or business studies
* Entry-level candidates welcome; prior exposure to a retail environment is advantageous
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including filters, sorting, formulas, pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
* Highly analytical with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
* Thrives in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines with accuracy
* Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach
* Ability to multitask effectively and demonstrate strong problem-solving capability
* Proactive, adaptable and takes ownership of responsibilities
