Engineering Networks is thrilled to be partnering with SNF Australia in the search for their new Technical Account Manager in Mackay.

**The role**
In this already established role, you will be responsible for managing their Coal accounts and developing projects in the pipeline. You will work mostly autonomously from a home office, but support in meeting your objectives is close at hand and you will work with the Senior Sales and Technical teams.
Whilst you won't be cold calling and banging on doors, you will develop customer and industry relationships and identify opportunities through your project management process. Key to your success will be developing yourself as a technical "go to" person in the region. Routine service work and reporting will be part of your day, so its important you enjoy getting your hands dirty and have good physical health to perform these tasks. Travel is required, up to 3 days/week, throughout the Bowen Basin region.
**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
- Chemical Engineer, Metallurgist or similar qualification preferred
- Would also suit someone coming from a leadership role in Coal Wash Plants
- Coal experience viewed favourably
- Sales experience an advantage, but a sales mentality essential
- Strong customer service focus and can-do attitude
- Effective communication skills and ability to relate technical concepts to clients at all levels
- Ability to build rapport and develop strong and trusting business relationships
- Excellent time management skills with ability to run projects
