Drilling Operations Trainee

This FIFO role may involve remote exploration or mine-site locations on 4:2 or 2:1 rosters.
Key Requirements:
1. Flexibility to work both 4:2 (four weeks on, two weeks off) and 2:1 (two weeks on, one week off) schedules.
2. A valid Heavy Rigid Licence.
3. Ability to pass a rigorous pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing.
4. Current Police Clearance, obtained within the last three months.
Duties of a Drilling Trainee:
1. Mobilising drilling equipment between sites.
2. Handling core samples - removing from tubes, placing in boxes, and labelling the box.
3. Assisting with drilling rods and core tubes.
4. Mixing drill fluid additives.
5. Cleaning equipment and maintaining a clean work area.
6. Supporting equipment maintenance and repairs.
