Are you an experienced Chef or Cook looking for stable part‐time hours, no late nights, and meaningful work?
Zion Aged Care in Nundah is seeking a reliable Part‐Time Chef / Cook to join our welcoming kitchen team. You'll prepare nutritious, home‐style meals for residents while enjoying a set roster and the benefits of working for a not‐for‐profit aged care provider.
The Roster
* Chef shifts (40 hours per fortnight)
o Week 1: Wednesday and Thursday
o Week 2: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
* Catering support shifts (29 hours per fortnight)
o Every Friday and Saturday
* No late nights
* Consistent fortnightly pattern

What You'll Be Doing
* Preparing and cooking nutritious meals for aged care residents
* Supporting meal service and plating for breakfast, lunch and dinner
* Catering to dietary requirements and food preferences
* Maintaining food safety, hygiene and WHS standards
* Assisting with stock control and kitchen operations
* Working collaboratively with catering staff and care teams
This role suits a Chef or Cook who enjoys variety, teamwork and cooking food that genuinely makes a difference to people's day.
About You
* Trade qualified (Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent experience)
* Experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care, health, hospitality or large‐scale catering desirable)
* Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
* Reliable, team‐focused and resident‐centred in your approach
* Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
A Queensland Driver Licence is required.
