Join Our Team: Executive Lead - Department for Education, Children and Young People Tasmania
Are you a passionate and experienced leader in education? The Department for Education, Children and Young People Tasmania is looking for dedicated Executive Leads to provide strategic leadership across groupings of Schools.
As an Executive Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education. You will collaborate with schools to create a culture of shared learning, continuous reflection, and accountability, all aimed at driving sustainable improvement.

Role Highlights
Location Flexibility: Positions are primarily located at designated sites within your grouping, with opportunities to nominate your preferred region and/or grouping.
Government Plated Vehicle: A government vehicle will be provided.
Mobile Phone: Stay connected and supported as you lead across various school sites.

Provide strategic leadership to schools, guiding them towards improved educational outcomes and enhanced student wellbeing.
Promote a culture of collaboration and accountability, empowering others to contribute to the continuous improvement of education.
Utilize your expertise to implement targeted strategies that drive systemic change and foster student success.

Period of Appointment:
5 January 2026 to 4 January 2029
Hours:
73.5 hours per fortnight (Full time)
Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment).
A registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000.
Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2025.
A current driver's licence.
