Role Overview We seek a motivated mid-senior to senior physiotherapist with general Australian registration and eligibility to work in Australia (citizen or permanent resident). This part time role will support aged care clients across in-person aged care, home care settings. You will apply evidence-based practice, mentor junior clinicians, and contribute to service development that enhances mobility, independence, and quality of life for older adults. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and tailored treatment plans for aged care clients, both onsite and via telehealth. Implement programs focusing on falls prevention, mobility retraining, strength and balance, pain management, and functional rehabilitation. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, occupational therapy, GPs, and allied health professionals to ensure integrated care. Provide clinical leadership and informal supervision to junior staff and students, promoting best practice and continuous improvement. Document clinical notes and outcome measures accurately and in a timely manner, complying with professional and organisational standards. Participate in quality improvement activities, service innovation, and development of patient education resources. What We’re Looking For Current Australian Health Practitioner registration (physiotherapy). Eligible to work in Australia (citizen or permanent resident). Proven experience in aged care or relevant adult rehabilitation settings; telehealth experience desirable. Strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. Ability to work independently and within a team, manage caseloads, and demonstrate initiative in service improvement. Mid-senior to senior level practitioners who can mentor others and champion high-quality care.
