We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior Chiropractic Assistant to join our team at Farmer Chiropractic in Maryborough, Queensland. As a full-time Chiropractic Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our chiropractic practice and ensuring the highest level of patient care. Hours are 36 hours a week with the ability to work up to 38 hours to cover staff annual or personal. Starting early January 2026.
What you'll be doing
Working as a team, greeting patients and managing the front desk, including booking appointments, answering phone inquiries, and handling patient records whilst maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
Assisting the chiropractor with patient examinations and administrative tasks
Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment in the clinic
Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring patient satisfaction
Performing general administrative duties, management of appointment book and invoicing, cash handling, data entry, filing, telephone and email communication and inventory management
What we're looking for
Previous experience working in a healthcare or customer service environment, preferably in a chiropractic or allied healthcare setting. On the job training will also be provided.
Mature character with strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients and staff in a friendly, caring and professional manner.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work flexibly and reliably within the team and confidently as an individual.
Proficiency in basic computer skills, including data entry and the use of office software. Previous health practice management software experience or similar desirable.
An interest in health and wellbeing and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
