About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will lead the mechanical maintenance team across the processing plant, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable execution of all maintenance activities.
You will play a critical role in driving maintenance performance, improving plant reliability, and leading a team of trades and leading hands across both planned and breakdown maintenance.
Responsibilities
* Supervise mechanical maintenance across fixed plant gold processing circuits
* Lead daily maintenance execution including planned and breakdown work
* Coordinate shutdown activities and maintenance schedules
* Ensure compliance with site safety systems and procedures
* Drive continuous improvement across maintenance and reliabilityWork closely with planning and reliability teams
* Mentor and develop tradespeople and leading hands
* Manage fault finding and troubleshooting across plant equipment
About You
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor in gold processing
* Strong knowledge of fixed plant equipment (crushers, mills, conveyors, pumps, CIL/CIP circuits)
* Trade qualified – Mechanical Fitter or equivalent
* Strong leadership and team management experience
* Commitment to safety and high-performance culture
* S26 or ability to obtain highly regarded
