Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage with the community, stakeholders, and road users for a major infrastructure project in Rockhampton.
* Prepare and distribute relevant communication materials, including fact sheets, notifications, and updates, across various channels.
* Ensure timely and accurate communication of traffic changes, project impacts, and benefits to all relevant parties.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a tertiary qualification in Marketing, Public Relations, Media Relations Communications or Business, or related discipline, and extensive prior experience in communications and stakeholder management on major infrastructure projects. They should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
