Overview
We are currently seeking a Facilities Manager to join our growing Retail Property Management business and be responsible for the facilities management of a portfolio of neighbourhood shopping centres for one key national client.
Supported by a friendly and dynamic team, you will showcase your skills and experience across facilities management and be empowered to own your role and trusted to make optimum decisions to best serve the operational needs of this retail environment.
Here’s what you will focus on
- Manage the delivery of all Facilities Management services for the allocated sites, tenant liaison and contractor management
- Maintain the operational management of the centres
- Establish policies and procedures, WHS and risk management compliance programs
- Management of service contractors, energy suppliers, technical consultants, and capital works contracts to ensure high levels of service performance
- Manage tenant/client relationships and work closely with the wider Retail PM team
- Ongoing maintenance management in addition to budgeting, forecasting, and planning
- Regularly inspect and report on building conditions and report items accordingly
Here’s what you’ll need to succeed
- Previous Operations or Facilities Management experience within a retail environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple priorities
- Proven problem solver with the capacity to work autonomously when required
- Advanced communication skills and a proactive and professional approach
- Sound financial acumen and computer literacy
- A driver’s licence and car are required
