The role This pivotal & newly created leadership role as the Clinical Lead provides clinical governance, supervision and strategic direction to a multidisciplinary team supporting victim-survivors of family, domestic and sexual violence, including children where appropriate in Regional WA. The service is recovery-oriented, culturally safe and designed for individuals who are no longer in crisis. You will balance the leadership responsibilities & clinical duties with active participation and engagement with reference groups (cultural & lived experience) and key agencies in the community to establish & maintain working relationships also.
Key selection criteria
Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work or Nursing
Full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or Mental Health Nurse or with AASW as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker
Demonstrated & extensive experience in providing a range of psychological interventions & counselling to individuals & groups
Extensive experience supporting victim-survivors of family, domestic & sexual violence - ideal
Strong understanding of trauma‑informed care, recovery‑oriented practice, and social and emotional wellbeing (SEWB) for First Nations people & communities
Advanced clinical supervision & mentoring capability, including the support & professional development of early-career clinicians
