The role
The Senior Wastewater Treatment Technician will play a key role in supporting technicians in managing routine operations, driving improvements, and overseeing maintenance activities of our wastewater treatment plants. You will ensure that wastewater is efficiently treated for recycling or safe discharge into the environment in compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
You will also be responsible for the mentoring of trainees and new employees and providing operational coverage at any wastewater treatment facility.
What you'll bring
* Flexible to travel to and work from any of our wastewater treatment facilities.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively mentor and train new and emerging staff.
* Detailed understanding and hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of domestic wastewater treatment facilities.
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of the appropriate related environmental compliance regulations to the wastewater industry.
* Ability to achieve performance objectives through effective time management and proactive teamwork.
* An ability to participate in an On Call Roster.
