Job Overview
The role is a key position in the Department's Disability Reform Directorate, leading the program of work that sets direction and longer-term disability reform plans for public education.
* Lead research and analysis to develop system-wide strategies, policies, and initiatives addressing complex policy issues in disability reform.
* Evaluate the broader political, economic, social, and technical environment to ensure appropriate research and data are available to develop policy options.
* Stay abreast of contemporary strategic policy practice, critical issues, directions, and trends.
* Deliver key initiatives and strategies of the disability reform long-term plan.
