Key Responsibilities
As the General Manager, Competition Enforcement and Advocacy or General Manager, Merger Assessment, your duties will include:
1. Representing the ACCC and managing strategic engagement with industry, stakeholder, and consumer organizations, including leading discussions and providing expert advice in decision-making forums.
2. Overseeing projects and activities such as planning, monitoring, reporting, research, and analysis.
3. Exercising judgment under pressure to determine the best course of action in complex and challenging situations with incomplete information.
4. Managing cultural change proactively and effectively.
5. Contributing to the success of your peers and supporting corporate initiatives and policies, balancing local and agency-wide priorities for optimal outcomes.
6. Innovating and problem-solving by leveraging specialist expertise to address complex challenges.
