Pivotal Role
This leader will develop platforms and solutions to improve identity and access management, manage a global team, collaborate with various organisational teams, and handle the technology sourcing strategy. Success depends on understanding technology strategy, architecture, and a clear delivery roadmap.
The role requires leadership in building a strong engineering culture in the User Access Management team, focusing on attracting and retaining top talent, promoting a collaborative environment that emphasises cross-skilling, DevOps, and accountability.
Key responsibilities include creating a tech roadmap aligned with our identity strategy, envisioning future engineering and product delivery, and guiding the team to develop scalable, resilient solutions.
The role prioritises innovation and site reliability, focusing on cloud adoption, simplifying technology, and automation to foster innovation. The leader will guide projects to adopt modern technologies and enhance the business, ensuring production support and platform reliability.
Desirable Qualities
Candidates should have previous experience managing moderate or large software engineering teams (30 to 60 people).
* Effective communication with senior management and business stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to introduce and promote innovative solutions delivering concrete business impact.
* Background in cloud technologies such as Amazon AWS and Google Cloud.
* Experience in system integrations including Active Directory, REST API, custom API, JDBC and other integration technologies.
* Experience with identity products like SailPoint IdentityIQ and Active Directory are desirable but not essential for this role.
