Are you a trade-qualified Auto Trimmer with experience in heavy vehicle maintenance? Brisbane City Council is seeking a skilled professional to join the Transport for Brisbane Division.
About the Role:
The Successful candidate will undertake the design, manufacture, repair, and installation of upholstery and interior components for the Transport for Brisbane bus fleet. This role is essential to ensuring a roadworthy, serviceable, and high-standard fleet is delivered to our depots and passengers.
Work Details
* Start Time: 6am
* Finish Time: 2:06pm
* 5 day weeks Mon - Fri
* Location: Toowong
Key Responsibilities:
* Construct, repair, and install auto trim components for a large-scale bus and vehicle fleet.
* Conduct seating maintenance and restoration, including material cutting, high-priority driver seat refurbishment, and responsive emergency repairs for both driver and passenger seats.
* Deliver high-quality work within estimated timeframes and quoted costs to ensure fleet uptime.
* Manage parts requisitions, job documentation, and industry-specific quoting systems.
* Interpret technical specifications to manufacture and assemble components to industry standards.
Key Requirements:
* Certificate III Automotive Vehicle Body Vehicle Trimming
* Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
* Strong commitment to teamwork and adherence to safety guidelines.
* 'C' Class Drivers Licence
