**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional in oncology care to lead our Oncology Coordination team. As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will play a vital role in providing expert clinical guidance and leadership within the team.

* Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary ward service, collaborating with all interdisciplinary teams within the region.

* Provide advanced clinical leadership to medical, nursing, and allied health professionals in cancer care.

* Initiate and evaluate research to establish and promote clinical best practices in oncology.

* Develop, implement, and promote evidence-based standards and policies compliant with relevant regulations.

* Actively participate in the recruitment, selection, and orientation of staff to build a strong oncology team.

* Manage quality improvement activities and provide clinical statistics and reports as required.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will require:

* Extensive clinical/professional knowledge in oncology specialty

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)

* Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities

* Sound understanding of human resource principles

* Knowledge of quality improvement and patient safety principles

* Eligibility for a current C or C-A Class Drivers license

* Progress towards a postgraduate qualification in oncology is desirable
