About the role
Our goal is to provide a service that builds healthier rural communities, with midwives playing a crucial role. You’ll work with diverse populations and experience various models of care. You will support women and their pregnancies in a modern facility, making a real difference in their lives.
You will be professionally developed through our district’s Clinical Midwife Educator and Consultants, have access to online and face-to-face learning with the Australian College of Nursing, and the opportunity to undertake our Clinical Leadership program. While challenging at times, your work will be rewarding, and you will be supported by a Clinical Midwife Specialist Team Leader in an inclusive, collaborative environment.
This role offers opportunities to broaden your scope, develop new skills, and advance your career. Challenge yourself, make an impact, and shape the future with Western NSW Local Health District.
Incentives
You may qualify for a $20,000 sign-on bonus if you have relocated from a metro (MM1-2), interstate, or international location. If not, incentives or allowances of up to $10,000 may apply. Retention incentives of up to $10,000 after 12 months of service may also be available. Incentives for part-time employment are paid pro-rata.
