We're a rapidly growing firm with an exciting opportunity for a Client Services Assistant. No prior experience is needed, what matters most is great customer service skills, strong organisation, and a positive work ethic.
The Role
The Client Services Assistant plays a key support role within our accounting and advisory team, providing both administrative and basic accounting assistance. This hybrid position is ideal for someone currently studying or interested in accounting, bookkeeping, or business administration, with a strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Provide general administrative support to the accounting team, including document preparation, scanning, filing, and data entry.
* Enter and reconcile basic accounting data under supervision (e.g. bank transactions, invoices, receipts).
* Support accountants in managing lodgment schedules and client deadlines.
* Learn and apply accounting software tools (e.g. Xero and MYOB) as part of day-to-day tasks.
Your Skills
Previous experience is not needed, we're looking for someone that is great with people and can pick up things quickly (not physically, unless you need to get your steps up for the day or close the ring on your apple watch)
* Great communication skills both written and verbal
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
* Excellent computer skills
* Strong work ethic and pro-active mentality
* A strong desire to build and maintain client relationships
