The Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section is a leading provider of health services to remote areas of NSW, SA and QLD. The Royal Flying Doctor Service provides primary health care, health education, preventative and public health, emergency and retrieval services.
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Casual Driver to join our dental team in Dubbo. The successful candidate will work alongside dentists, dental assistants, and oral health therapists to help bridge the gap in oral health across Far West and Western NSW. This role involves traveling to remote communities and requires a commitment to ensuring the safety of our dental team and improving oral health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Be available to work on a casual/as needed basis.
* Stay overnight in remote communities as necessary.
* Drive, set up, pack up, and secure dental equipment in the Dental Van.
* Perform general vehicle and dental equipment maintenance, on all dental vehicles
* Assist with oral health promotion, sterilization, and data input into the dental program Titanium.
Requirements:
* Hold a current Light Rigid Licence as a minimum.
* Hold a current Working With Children check
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight in remote areas, for up to a week at a time
* Ability to work collaboratively within the dental team.
* Strong commitment to assist with promoting oral health.
* Willingness to learn and assist the dental team in schools and remote communities
