Role Details:We're looking for a skilled and safety‑focused Loader Operator to join our underground team in Broken Hill.

This is a residential only position, based in Broken Hill.
What You'll Be Doing:
You will play a key role in the safe and efficient movement of ore and waste within the mine. You'll work as part of a highly experienced crew, operating loaders in production and development areas to meet daily targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate underground loaders (LHDs) safely and efficiently
* Load and haul ore and waste to designated locations
* Conduct pre‑start checks and basic maintenance
* Work closely with shift supervisors and underground crews
* Maintain high safety standards and follow all site procedures
* Assist with general underground duties as required
What You Will Bring:
We're looking for someone who brings a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a positive attitude.
You'll ideally have:
* Previous underground mining experience (preferred)
* Experience operating loaders/LHDs in an underground environment
* A valid manual driver's licence
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team
* A commitment to safe work practices
