We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join our leadership team on the Gold Coast.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and working closely with the executive team, the Head of Finance is responsible for overseeing the Group’s accounting and financial reporting functions while supporting financial strategy, planning and forecasting.
This is a key leadership role within the finance function, providing strategic insight and ensuring strong financial governance as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the Group’s financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly and annual management and statutory reporting
* Support financial strategy, budgeting and forecasting, providing analysis and insights to senior management
* Manage cash flow forecasting, taxation and statutory compliance (including GST, BAS, FBT and payroll tax)
* Maintain and enhance financial controls, accounting policies, systems and procedures
* Provide financial analysis and commercial advice to support operational and funding decisions
* Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisers and other external stakeholders
* Lead and develop the finance team, including mentoring, performance management and capability development
* Support audit processes, regulatory compliance and strategic finance initiatives across the Group
About You
To be successful in this role, you will likely bring:
* Significant experience in a senior finance or financial leadership role
* Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise
* Experience managing taxation and statutory compliance obligations
* Excellent financial analysis, forecasting and strategic planning skills
* Experience working with auditors, banks and external advisers
* Strong leadership capability and the ability to mentor and develop finance staff
* A collaborative approach and the ability to partner with senior management
Professional qualifications in Accounting or Finance (CA/CPA or equivalent) will be highly regarded.
