Job Description
As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll be at the heart of our branch network, welcoming our customers and engaging in meaningful conversations to uncover their needs and provide tailored banking solutions. You will utilise your product knowledge to assist customers in achieving their financial goals – both in‐person and over the phone – and refer them to our specialised banking teams when necessary. This part‐time, branch‐based role includes covering planned and unplanned leave across other Westpac Group branches in the area, so the ability to travel and flexibility is essential.
What do I need?
* Customer service and sales experience, ideally in a customer‐facing or phone‐based role with experience working to targets
* Resilience, with an ability to remain calm and composed while managing challenging situations
* Comfortable with working towards sales or referral targets and calling customers over the phone
* Numerical capability, ideally with proficiency in cash handling and counting, and the ability to complete financial transactions accurately
* An energetic personality coupled with a genuine passion for helping people
* The will to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologies
