**Your new role**
Based in the northern suburbs and is a full-time permanent position. This is a pivotal role within the organisation and you will have a strong ability to work well in a small local team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day warehouse functions and utilise your strong communication skills to work with key stakeholders. This will be a hands-on role with a lead by example approach. Duties will include but won't be limited to;
- Manage the day-to-day functions of the warehouse
- Oversee all aspects of inventory management; from receipting in stock, storing, order releasing, picking/packing and dispatch/delivery to customers
- Manage distribution/freight processes
- Manage maintenance of the warehouse's facilities and equipment
- Monitor any delays on outbound freight and inform relevant parties
- Inventory management
- Quality inspection of receipted goods
- Proactively contribute to process improvement and problem-solving
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Strong background in warehousing principles and practices
- Experience with ERP and warehouse management system
- Forklift licence - strongly preferred
- Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in effective stock management
- Experience in scheduling of stock distribution
