Position Summary
Purpose
The Sales Specialist is responsible for identifying, developing, maintaining and expanding relationships within the region and for farming selected accounts for increased revenue streams. The Sales Specialist works closely with the Regional Sales Manager to identify, develop, and implement account capture plans, while also working proactively with and supporting business units in developing and implementing market share gain strategies. The Sales Specialist is responsible for improving ‘Brand’ awareness within various markets, this may include planning for, and attending conferences, industry events and other various forms of network and marketing initiatives. This position is also responsible for identification of opportunities in various and alternative markets. This position will also work and collaborate with the Regional Operations and Leadership team to support overall growth. The Sales Specialist will be part of the Global Sales team and may be required to support a wider region from time to time
The Sales Specialist will also work together with the Regional Sales Manager to introduce new high potential accounts, following the regional strategy developed by the relevant P&L leader and Regional Sales Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
Functions
ESSENTIAL
§Primary focus on account development, sales, brand awareness and delivery of entire portfolio of IMDS solutions and/or discrete products and services.
§Securing relevant market data and intelligence on upcoming opportunities.
§Develop a thorough understanding of customers’ needs and requirements and prepare customized solutions.
§Educate customer contacts on Oceaneering capabilities of all OII business units that can bring value to the account.
§Enter and manage information in the CRM system for internal visibility and opportunity management.
§Maintain up to date sales funnel data to support internal review and reporting.
§Act as main point of contact between selected accounts and internal teams.
§Work closely with the commercial team on win themes and voice of the customer (VoC) experience to assist tenders.
§Support the business in building Capture Plans for large IMDS and multi-business unit opportunities where applicable.
§Focus sales efforts on high potential opportunities.
§Identify and engage decision makers and users within each account.
§Maintain and expand account contacts for key areas of products and services.
§Provide weekly/bi-weekly updates on sales activities to be used for monthly updates to senior management by Regional Sales Manager.
§Work closely with Marketing teams to promote brand awareness, deploy marketing campaigns, attend trade shows and conferences
§Compile reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts for account teams and stakeholders
NON-ESSENTIAL
§Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
§This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. Sales Specialist may be assigned to work for Account Managers and form an account team.

REQUIRED
§Degree qualified or equivalent related experience.
§Demonstrated success in selling various products across multiple business lines.
§Ability to network and engage across varying levels of an organization.
§Strong understanding of brand awareness, growth, social media and presence.
§Business acumen to understand risk and challenges and track record delivering -sales results including successfully winning complex and/or strategic projects.
§Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as CRM (such as MS Dynamics 365) and Power BI software
DESIRED
§Degree or Masters within a field of Engineering or Science
§Fluent in English
