Overview
The Simulator Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager and performs all preventative and corrective maintenance on training devices for the AW139, ensuring safe, effective maintenance and maximizing successful training events for the end user.
Responsibilities
* Carry out all maintenance tasks as required and directed by the Maintenance Manager
* Ensure all maintenance tasks meet internal and external compliance requirements
* Work on world-leading flight simulator technology
* Adhere to CAE's Environment, Health and Safety standards
Minimum Qualifications
* Technician and/or mechanical trade skill desired, especially electrician, electronic tech or IT professional
* Sound IT knowledge and ability to learn systems quickly
* Strong problem‐solving skills
* Ability to obtain/maintain a Defence Security Clearance – must be an Australian Citizen
* Ability to work 5 days a week on‐site at Bankstown
Preferred Qualifications
* Avionics technician certification, experience or knowledge will be a big plus
* Aviation or Defence industry experience
* Ability to assist others within NSW and interstate
