Infrastructure Security Specialist — Based in North Sydney with hybrid working. Work across enterprise Microsoft security technologies.

What You'll Do

• Monitor, investigate and respond to security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities across our infrastructure
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and forensic analysis using tools such as Microsoft Defender and EDR platforms
• Implement and maintain secure configurations across Active Directory, Windows Server, and cloud environments
• Administer and enhance security tooling including Microsoft Defender stack, SIEM, and endpoint detection solutions
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure and network teams to embed security into system design and operations
• Develop reporting and insights on security posture, incidents, and remediation activities (including Power BI dashboards)

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience in infrastructure or security engineering within a Microsoft-centric environment
• Strong hands‐on capability across incident response, threat detection, and forensic analysis
• Experience working with tools such as Microsoft Defender, EDR platforms, Active Directory, SCCM, Intune, and Azure
• Ability to think critically, assess complex problems and deliver effective, end‐to‐end solutions
• Strong understanding of access management, security monitoring and vulnerability management
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work autonomously in a fast‐paced environment
