I'm recruiting a Senior Town Planner to work for Schools Infrastructure NSW.
Overview:
Pay Rate: up to $750 per day + super. That's $93.75ph + super!
Location: 1 day from Blacktown & 1 day from Liverpool, then 3 days WFH!
Contract: to start ASAP, for 6-months
Hours of Work: 8hrs per day/40 hrs per week
Working with a great, supportive small team of 8 staff (all based in different locations), with daily MS Teams catch-ups.
The Role:
* To provide statutory planning support to the Asset Management regions in the School Infrastructure Group to strengthen compliance with legal requirements.
* Providing internal planning advise and reviewing REF's.
* Involves identification, documentation and delivery of planning requirements and planning pathways for school upgrades and maintenance works undertaken by Asset Management - this includes some new developments (new buildings, amenities and demountables).
About You:
* Ideally the candidate will have of 6-10 years Town Planning experience, and already at Senior or Principal Planner level.
* You will have Part 4 and Part 5 development assessment experience.
* This is a highly autonomous role and requires a person with confidence in the knowledge and application of the NSW Planning system and key planning legislation.
* Pre-employment Checks Required: 2 References, a WWCC and Police Check.
