About The Role
Responsible for managing wedding and social sales opportunities reactively. Actively up-sells each business opportunity to maximize revenue. Manages daily activities related to social and catering sales objectives. Achieves personal and team revenue goals.
Implements the brand’s service strategy and initiatives in all sales aspects. Manages the hotel’s wedding and social sales efforts.
Collaborates with off-property sales channels (e.g., GSO) to ensure coordinated social and catering sales efforts.
Builds and maintains relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings, including site inspections, sales calls, and entertainment.
Develops community relationships to expand customer base for social and catering sales.
Manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Provides lateral service to departments as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned by the manager.
Preferred Candidate:
Catering and wedding sales experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Opera (preferred)
Strong interpersonal, teamwork, customer service skills, and ability to manage diverse relationships
English language proficiency
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Detail-oriented with effective time management skills
Reliable, positive, adaptable, and a team player
