About the Role
This position is for an experienced Development Compliance Officer who will be responsible for ensuring that development within the City complies with relevant legislation, policy and operating procedures. This includes undertaking inspections of swimming pool safety barriers on private properties to ensure compliance with legislated obligations.

* Conduct thorough inspections of properties to verify adherence to regulations
The successful candidate will have experience in interpretation, administration and application of local government legislation, as well as knowledge of planning, building surveying and environmental planning processes. They must also possess excellent conflict resolution skills and evidence collection abilities.
