Are you a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate ready to kick-start your career in a hands-on, real-world environment?

Generators Australia is offering an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our team at our Global Head Office in Canning Vale. This role is designed to give you exposure to the full engineering lifecycle - from concept and design through to testing, manufacturing, and real-world application.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you\'ll gain practical experience on a variety of projects while developing the technical and professional skills needed to build a successful engineering career.

Responsibilities

* As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you\'ll work as part of a collaborative engineering team and gain exposure to a range of projects and technologies. Your responsibilities may include:
* Assisting with the design and development of mechanical components and systems
* Using CAD and engineering software to support design, modelling, and analysis
* Supporting testing, validation, and troubleshooting of prototypes and equipment
* Collaborating with electrical, manufacturing, and engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions
* Assisting with the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and design specifications
* Supporting projects through the entire product lifecycle, from concept to production
* Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and manufacturing processes
* Working with suppliers and internal teams to help deliver projects on time
* Attending engineering meetings and contributing to project discussions

This role works Monday to Friday 6am - 4pm from our Canning Vale office.

Qualifications

* A Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar discipline)
* A solid understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
* Exposure to CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar
* Familiarity with engineering analysis or simulation tools (e.g. ANSYS, MATLAB) - desirable but not essential
* Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive attitude and genuine enthusiasm to learn and grow
* The ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Exposure to prototyping, 3D printing, machining, or lean manufacturing concepts will be highly regarded, but not essential.

Fluency speaking Chinese would be advantageous but not essential
