Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled transport operator with a valid driver's license to deliver goods safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain vehicles to transport goods across metropolitan areas
* Ensure thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections are completed
* Manage accurate trip logs and other documentation
* Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as required
* Provide exceptional customer service
Requirements:
* Hold a valid car or MR class driver's license
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to road safety and compliance
* A well-presented individual with excellent time management and organizational skills
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Must have permanent right to work in Australia
* Good driving record with no major infractions particularly dangerous driving or Drink/Drug driving offences
* Physical capability to safely perform manual handling tasks up to 25kg mainly lifting tyres
* Ability to work early starts 6 am-7am and must be able to work through the afternoon up to 5pm if required
* Must be 21+ years of age
